Now that the academic obligations of my project have been meant I’ve been working briefly on one element of the project that has always bothered me… the mark itself. I felt the original (on the left) was put together too quickly, was unnecessarily complicated, had too many strange incongruous angles in it, and some weird negative space created by the bars. Yesterday I took another stab at this and came up with a cleaner version of the mark which I’ll most likely continue to play with (below).
